French Language Prep

REGIONAL CLASSES AVAILABLE IN 14 CITIES START YOUR EXCHANGE PROGRAM IN FRANCE WITH A TWO – OR FOUR – WEEK LANGUAGE CLASS:

This class may be taken in January or September for four weeks only in conjunction with the semester or year programs. Classes cover specific tuition in language, civilisation and study techniques.

Paris Prep Class: Students live with a family in the Paris suburbs for the first four weeks of the program, and will have the opportunity to explore Paris with their class and their host family. The students join their long-term host families and school throughout France after course finishes.
COST - $1900 in addition to program fee.

Regional Prep Class: Students join their long-term host family upon arrival and spend the first two or four weeks taking language prep class prior to attending regular high school, giving the student familiarity with the languarge and community before attending the lycee.

SCHOOLS LOCATED IN THE PROVINCIAL CITIES – ON MAP

• schools are modern, small, in fashionable neighbourhoods.
• small classes with dedicated procedural material.
• qualified FLE (French as a Foreign Language) teacher.
• classes Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri mornings; activity Wednesday.

HOW?

• An application form will be sent with your Application Kit if you have indicated one of your choices to be France.
• Applicants may indicate city preference on the Application. A PARTICULAR LOCATION CANNOT BE GUARANTEED SINCE PRIMARY CONSIDERATION IS GIVEN TO CHOOSING AN APPROPRIATE FAMILY FOR EACH STUDENT.

YOUR HOST FAMILY WILL BE THE SAME DURING PREP CLASSES AND THE REMAINDER OF YOUR PROGRAM.

You will join your long-term host family in the Provinces after the course finishes
